The first stage is completed!!

Il basamento è conluso! Ora si continua con la produzione dei mattoni e dei pannelli in bambù per poter successivamente procedere con la loro posa.

The platform is finished! Now we keep on with the production of bricks and the bamboo panels in order to proceed with their laying.  

 

 

Ecco un'alternativa alla rete eletrosaldata: una rete fatta in bambù!! Pur utilizzando un materiale diverso completa comunque la resistenza strutturale del basamento e quindi del pavimento.

Here's an alternative to the electro-welded mesh: one made of bamboo! While using a different material it still complete the structural strength of the base and then the floor.

 

La posa della rete avviene successivamente al trattamento protettivo contro gli insetti (spray anti termiti).

The laying of the bamboo net occurs after the insect protection treatment (spray anti termites).

Anche le travi della seconda metà del basamento sono concluse. Ora si procede al riempimento dello stesso per raggiungere il livello di calpestio.

Also the beams of the second half of the base are concluded. It is now time to fill the same to reach the level of the floor .

Production of the soil blocks

Per la preparazione dei blocchi in terra cruda è necessario per prima cosa setacciare la terra alla quale vengono poi uniti sabbia e cemento.

For the preparation of the bricks, you first have to sift the soil to which you have to add sand and cement.

Il composto viene in seguito mixato con acqua in un'apposita macchina impastatrice, fino a raggiungere la giusta consistenza.

The mixture is then combined with water in the mixing machine to reach the right compactness.

 

La mistura viene quindi compattata nei casseri e livellata. Gli stampi vengono rimossi dopo 10/15 minuti.

The mixture is then compacted into molds and leveled. The molds are removed after 10/15 minutes. 

 

Di seguito le fasi di preparazione ed assemblaggio delle cassaformi per le travi. In seguito è stato gettato il calcestruzzo concludendo così le travi della prima metà del basamento.

Here are the stages of the construction and assembly of the formworks for the beam. Then they have poured the concrete concluding the beams of the first half of the platform.

Ecco l'evoluzione dei lavori durante le vacanze natalizie. Noi siamo tornate in Italia per una breve pausa, ma loro non si sono fermati!!
