Mentre la scuola continua a crescere, un'altra classe della scuola elementare di Missione Possibile è venuta ad apprenderne il processo costruttivo.

While the school continues to grow, another class of the elementary school of Missione Possibile came to learn the process of construction.

Abbiamo disegnato questo tipo di tamponamento leggero per permettere una maggior ventilazione natuarale all'interno delle aule, migliorandone il comfort.

We have designed this type of light wall to enable a greater natural ventilation inside the classrooms, improving comfort.

Bamboo Building Workshop

Vi mostriamo alcune foto del workshop sull'utilizzo del bambù come materiale da costruzione a cui abbiamo partecipato . Il workshop è stato organizzato da Building Trust International in collaborazione con Community Development Foundation (CDF).

We show you some photos of the workshop we joined on the use of bamboo as a building material. The workshop was organized by Building Trust International in collaboration with Community Development Foundation (CDF).

 

 

Il bambù prima di essere utilizzato deve essere forato al suo interno e immerso in una vasca contenente acqua miscelata con acido borico e borato di sodio per 10 giorni. Per i successivi 4 giorni viene lasciato asciugare in un luogo riparato dai raggi del sole. Questo trattamento serve ad eliminare gli amidi presenti nel bamboo di cui si nutrono gli insetti.

The bamboo before be used must be drilled inside and immersed in a tank containing water mixed with boric acid and borax for 10 days. For the next 4 days is left to dry in a place sheltered from the rays of the sun. This treatment removes sweet tasting starches that attract bugs and cause bamboo deterioration.

Dopo aver tagliato i bambù il falegname, con l'aiuto dei suoi famigliari, sta preparando i telai in legno dei pannelli che costituiscono i tamponamenti leggeri. I telai vengono forati in base alla dimensione di ogni singolo culmo.

We cut the bamboo. In the meantime the carpenter, with the help of his family, is preparing the wooden frames. These will be assemble to make the panels, that constitute the wall light plug. These frames are drilled based on the size of each individual bamboo.

 

Soil blocks lesson for the children

I bambini di prima media, che stanno aspettando la costruzione della loro scuola, sono venuti a conoscere le tecniche costruttive che stiamo utilizzando per realizzarla. In particolare hanno imparato come si fanno i blocchi in terra cruda essiccati al sole.

Children of the sixth grade, who are waiting for the construction of their new secondary school, came to the site to know the construction techniques that we are using to build. In particular, they have learned how to make the sun dried soil blocks.

 

Mentre si posano i primi mattoni, continuiamo con la loro fabbricazione e procediamo con la selezione e il taglio dei bambù necessari alla costruzione dei tamponamenti leggeri.
